The International Workshop on Social Networks and Data Processing (SNDP’2012)

in conjunction with 2012 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on IAT

Web-based social networks have been growing extremely fast in recent years. It has become one of the most important issues of web-based technologies. Meanwhile, data mining and processing techniques have been applied extensively to various research domains including web technology and social networks.

This workshop aims to gather experts and scholars from related fields to present and share their recent research on social networks, data processing and the integration of these two areas. Through SNDP’12, participants can further discuss the state-of-art technology in the social network and data processing field as well as the problems or issues occurred during their research.

Submission Guideline

Unless specified otherwise in the call, Submission Guidelines paper submissions should be limited to a maximum of 8 pages in the IEEE 2-column format, and will have a peer review by the Program Committee on the basis of technical quality, relevance to the conference topics, originality, significance, and clarity.

Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings by the IEEE Computer Society Press. The corresponding-authors will be notified at all time, for the submission, notification, and confirmation on the attendance. Submitting a paper to the conference, industry day, demos or workshops means that, if the paper is accepted, at least one author should attend the conference to present the paper and should then register to the conference with a regular fee. All papers will be included in proceedings published by IEEE press, as well as publication in the IEEE digital library.

For authors who submit their papers to any workshop, please submit through the WI-IAT 2012 Workshop page:
